To my darling grandchildren- Cadence, Ember. Ariel, Anca and Victor and the newest addition to my family’s children David and Laura. When you hear the malevolent voices which deny that the HOLOCAUST has ever existed, think of our family’s innocent martyrs perished in the holocaust and don’t ever forget them.

Ella Schwartz, my father's sister, was also taken from Baia-Mare and did not survive deportation to Auschwitz. Ella is in the middle of the picture, between her two brothers; my dad is on her right.
